We’re doing a last minute Christmas Gift Theme so for the coffeeholic in your life the big no brainer is quality coffee. Either something that you roast yourself or maybe something different you pick up at the local cafe. Over in New England you can’t go wrong heading out to George Howell’s Taste in Newtonville, MA. George as you may know is the owner of Terroir Coffee Company.
Does your coffee friend have a scale like this? Or no scale at all? .. Head for Amazon for a modern digital scale and get your order in my the 23rd and they’ll get it for Christmas.
Maybe some incredible food you can buy or make that is the perfect coffee pairing such as this almond anise biscotti.
So, Merry Christmas all. And a Happy New Year.

Hi! My name is Doug and I’m one of the roasters at George Howell Coffee. I think the idea of a digital scale is perfect! Not only is it used all the time by people who care about coffee, but it’s very commonly used by people who care about food.
I like your ideas so much, I’m not going to say any more, but if you have any questions, feel free to email me!
Merry Christmas!
Doug, you make a good point about how a scale is important not only for coffee but for foods as well. Measuring ingredients such as flour by volume instead of weight can be inaccurate etc. Also, appreciate your offer to help us out with additional info. It will be interesting to get the perspective from a high end roaster such as Terroir Coffee. Thanks for your comment.
