Getting back to basics and it’s tough to beat the old school coffee with warm toast. Not too sweet, just right. Back in the day some people would have their toaster right on the kitchen table and have their toasted Wonderbread with their coffee or tea. And, if you were in a good mood you could always sprinkle some cinnamon sugar on the buttered toast as well.
Anyway, if or when you enjoy this, go really old school. Meaning homemade bread, cultured butter.. But if you’re not a baker, you may want to find one to purchase your bread from.
