We have a Nor’easter forecasted for tomorrow over here. This is just New England’s version of a serious snow storm. And as long as I have coffee, food and firewood no problem & “let it snow”. And that’s one of the great things about home roasting.. green coffee beans keep. … Right now I have about ten pounds in the cupboard (some Ethiopian, some Sumatran some Guatemalan etc). and if I ever run out of coffee during a Northeaster. .. No problem. I’ll just roast some up and be good with fresh specialty coffee.
.. Power outage due to high winds off the ocean and ice on the power lines.. No problem as I’m lucky to have a wood stove and this little propane cook top for camping. So lucky to have heat and a place to roast & cook. and as added insurance…
Gabe is always watching whenever I roast, cook or fix something. Not that he’d be able to do anything if I got hurt but may I’ll be just a bit more careful so I don’t have an accident and get him upset.
